Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting in the oil and gas industry.
• APA, CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of oil and gas accountants.
• Develop and monitor processes and controls for accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee project management for new client onboarding.
• Interface with clients about account statuses.
• Analyze revenue and expenses for accuracy.
• Process annual 1099 and property tax reporting.
• Prepare and process monthly joint interest billings.
