Charlotte Community Health Clinic is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain the general ledger, and support the CFO with audits, budgeting, and compliance while mentoring accounting staff.
The role reports to the CFO in the Finance department and emphasizes adherence to GAAP and strong internal controls within a Federally Qualified Health Center setting.

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations for Charlotte Community Health Clinic and will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining detailed and organized financial records, managing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annually close processes, and enforcing compliance with company policies. Position will assist and serve as back up for the Controller as needed.
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience; Minimum of 5 years within the accounting/finance field; Experience with financial audits, close processes, forecasting, financial reporting, and budgeting; Experience with accounting software such as Blackbaud Financial Edge; Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
PREFERRED: Active CPA license; Previous experience in the non-profit sector and/or within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) strongly desired.
