Qualifications

• Monthly close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience.
• Manufacturing, inventory, job-costing, industrial, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and able to resolve accounting or operational issues.
• Able to thrive in a collaborative, small-company environment with broad responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the monthly close, financial statement prep, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accuracy.
• Oversee and support daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash reporting, and working-capital visibility.
• Strengthen job costing, inventory accounting, and product-level profitability reporting.
• Help optimize the company’s manufacturing ERP system and improve reporting, data quality, and accounting processes.
• Partner with production, purchasing, sales, and leadership to investigate variances and support operational decision-making.
• Provide guidance and support to members of the accounting and administrative team.

This is an onsite role based in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Candidates should currently live near the area, be willing to relocate, or be comfortable commuting to Blue Earth.
