Our client operates today as a prototype and R&D-stage business. As the company scales toward production and takes on more government contracts, their accounting systems, indirect rate structure, and compliance posture need to scale with it.
As Accounting Manager, you will build the financial backbone required to withstand DCAA and DCMA scrutiny, support program controls across multiple contract types, and prepare the business for potential M&A activity. You will own the close, the Chart of Accounts, and the policies and controls that govern them, working alongside the CFO, the VP of Finance, and program management. This role requires technical accounting depth, government contracting fluency, and the judgment to build systems that hold up under audit before the audit arrives.
Depending on experience, this role may be leveled as Controller or Accounting Manager.
