Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Atlanta to oversee accounting operations, develop staff, and enhance financial processes. You will partner with senior finance leadership while driving process improvements and ensuring GAAP compliance. Hybrid work flexibility and a strong compensation package are offered.

This role requires CPA, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and 5–7+ years of relevant experience, with supervisory responsibilities and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA required.
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.
• Public accounting (audit experience) is considered helpful.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated success improving processes and driving operational efficiencies.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to revenue accounting preferred
• Track record of career stability and progression
