Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting and day‑to‑day bookkeeping for the SaaS division.
• Ensure accuracy and productivity of month‑end close processes.
• Develop and maintain accounting processes and internal controls.
• Manage multiple entities and intercompany transactions.
• Review budget vs actual performance and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and reconciliations as needed.

Responsibility as Accounting Manager

This is a high profile, hands-on position that organizes and manages accounting for the SaaS division. The Accounting Manager will manage all aspects of general accounting, including the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day operations.

Requirements

You are:

A Certified Public Accountant that has progressive experience in accounting with at least 3 years at the Accounting Manager level. You have experience with software revenue recognition and subscription billing as well as account analysis and are skilled in general accounting and consolidations. Driven by deadlines; you work with a sense of urgency for completion of tasks with strong attention to detail and analysis.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Develop and maintain accounting processes and procedures
• Accurate and timely completion of the close process
• Develop and maintain internal controls for protection of company assets
• Manage accounting for multiple entities and understand intercompany transactional relationships and appropriate accounting for such
• Review budget to actual performance
• Analyze, identify and communicate areas of concern/opportunities to accounting management team
• Work with internal tax and external audit/tax team
• Analysis and reconciliation of GL accounts
• Commission calculations
• Fixed Asset management
• Ad Hoc reporting and analysis, as requested

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Experience with software revenue recognition and subscription billing
• Experience in general accounting and consolidations
• NetSuite

Qualifications:

• Only Atlanta based candidates will be considered
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Advanced user of Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
