Job summary

Troon’s Corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for an Accounting Lead. This working supervisory role oversees accounting for a portfolio of golf clubs and corporate lines, delivering GAAP-compliant reporting through hands-on review and close collaboration with operations.

You will lead a small team of accountants, provide coaching, and serve as primary contact for operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience reviewing complex reconciliations, financial statements, and close deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close activities for assigned portfolio, reviewing statements and schedules.
• Provide hands-on review and quality control ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Supervise and coach a small team of accountants.
• Serve as primary liaison to operations, explaining financial results.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting issues and variances.
