Qualificações

• 3-7 years of accounting experience.
• Insurance industry experience required.
• Public/private/combo.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong technical experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Compile quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements, including supporting schedules and disclosures.
• Manage the preparation and timely filing of U.S. Statutory quarterly and annual statements with the NAIC, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Create management reports and presentations summarizing financial results, trends, and KPIs for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather and validate financial data.
• Implement and monitor internal control procedures to ensure integrity of financial reporting and SOX compliance.
• Analyze quarterly expenses and balance sheet items of consolidated financial statements.
• Support the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Facilitate adoption of new accounting standards and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee internal and external audits, providing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Execute other related duties and special projects to support Corporate Accounting team and broader organization.
