Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is seeking an Accounting Intern to join the Controllership team for an internship of at least one year.

As an integral member, you will assist with day-to-day accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and analytical reporting, while benefiting from mentorship by experienced accounting professionals and opportunities to extend into full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting as a junior or senior.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to safety policies and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and reporting controls.
• Support month-end close journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly close and reporting (AP, AR, cash).
• Maintain accounting policies and respond to audit requests.
