The Cleveland Group CPAs, Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors, LLC is seeking an accounting intern to gain hands-on experience while supporting daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, data entry, and client projects.

Ideal candidates are sophomores, juniors, or seniors enrolled in accounting, with a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. The role may evolve into a part‑time, year‑round position to accommodate college commitments.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior or senior currently enrolled in accounting classes.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Communicates professionally and effectively.
• Dependable and take pride in their work.
• Comfortable asking questions and learning new things.
• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 20-30 hours a week depending on class schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bookkeeping and general accounting.
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assisting with payroll processing.
• Entering and maintaining financial data.
• Assisting with financial statement preparation.
• Supporting accountants with client projects.
• Organizing and preparing client information.
• Assisting with tax‑related projects as appropriate.
• Using accounting software and other technology.
• Helping with administrative and client service needs.
• Participating in training and professional development.
• Taking on additional responsibilities as your skills develop.
