Job summary

Andersen invites applications for Private Accounting Services (PAS) Interns. You will be staffed on engagements, similar to an Associate, with formal and on-the-job training to develop technical skills.

Responsibilities include coordinating administrative tasks, preparing reconciliations and financial statements, and performing basic accounting research with written conclusions. Eligible students are pursuing accounting-related degrees with a 3.0+ GPA and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM.
• Interns join during winter/spring or summer prior to graduation.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and client interaction abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in coordinating administrative tasks including accounting and general ledger functions.
• Preparing account reconciliations and financial statements.
• Performing basic accounting research with written conclusions.
