Job summary

Andersen Tax invites talented PAS Interns to join client service teams, gaining hands-on exposure to accounting functions and training on core skills. Interns are staffed on engagements similar to Associates, with formal and on-the-job development opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Eligible students in accounting/finance related fields with a 3.0+ GPA can apply for winter/spring or summer starts, to build a foundation for a career in tax, valuation and advisory services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM.
• Eligible students should be in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or in their 4th year of a 5-year degree program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills; and
• Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the coordination of administrative tasks, including accounting and general ledger functions;
• Preparing account reconciliations and financial statements; and
• Performing basic accounting research with written conclusions.
