Palomar Products, a subsidiary of TransDigm Group, invites applications for an Accounting Intern position in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. The intern will support the Finance department with AP/AR, cash activity updates, labor data reconciliation, and basic journal entries under supervision.

The role is designed for students pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree, emphasizing accuracy, organization, and professional communication.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and willingness to learn advanced functions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via email.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and curiosity to investigate variances.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and maintain AP/AR inboxes and respond to routine inquiries.
• Assist with reconciling labor data between internal systems and identify discrepancies.
• Update the daily/weekly cash activity report with current transactions.
• Research variances within cash, labor, or other accounts and summarize findings.
• Prepare basic journal entries under supervision and support month-end close activities.
• Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks as directed.
