Job summary

Myers and Stauffer LC invites motivated students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting to join our internship program in Harrisburg, PA. This role provides exposure to audit, data management, and consulting services for government-sponsored programs, with potential for direct hire after graduation.

You will develop practical skills, assist on projects, and learn about our services while maintaining a professional appearance and timely responsiveness in a collaborative, team-oriented

Qualifications

• GPA minimum 3.25
• Active participation in student organizations and work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of a project or work in progress and apply knowledge gained to future projects
• Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual
• Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services
• Respond to all inquiries and requests
• Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors
• Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
• Ability to gain computer proficiency relative to administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research
• Professional in appearance and manner
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
• This position could have the potential to become a direct hire in a full-time position after graduation
