Job summary

Myers and Stauffer invites student interns pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or a related field to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The internship provides exposure to project work, data management, and client service within a CPA firm environment.

Interns will develop general knowledge of Myers and Stauffer services, gain experience in administrative programs, and have the potential to transition to full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of a project or work in progress and apply knowledge gained to future projects
• Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual
• Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services
• Respond to all inquiries and requests
• Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors
• Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
• Ability to gain computer proficiency relative to administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research
• Professional in appearance and manner
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
• This position could have the potential to become a direct hire in a full-time position after graduation
