Farm Credit Services of America in Omaha, NE seeks a Corporate Accounting Internship to gain hands-on experience supporting general ledger functions in alignment with GAAP, FCA regulations, and IRS requirements.

You'll assist with monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliation processes, while learning fixed assets, payroll accounting, and internal controls. This 12-week summer internship offers a competitive hourly wage and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• General understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Interest in corporate accounting and financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Assist monthly and quarterly close activities including journal entries and validations.
• Support subledgers, amortization schedules, fixed assets and leases.
• Contribute to payroll and benefits accounting processes.
• Help document monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Learn FCA requirements and ICFR control documentation.
