Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an accounting intern to gain exposure to accounting and operational finance. You will rotate through accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and supplier management, learning essential ERP system functions.

The role focuses on journal entries, invoice processing and customer invoicing, with opportunities to contribute to fixed asset audits and special projects. Availability year-round is required.

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field.
• Availability year round.
• Previous exposure to accounting (courses or work experience)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of journal entries
• Develop working knowledge of invoice processing
• Participate in the twice weekly payment (check) run
• Assist in the preparation of customer invoices
• Participate in fixed asset audits
• Ad hoc accounting projects as needed
