LendingPoint LLC is seeking an Intern in Accounting focused on Bank Reconciliations. You will support daily reconciliations, cash research, and month-end close activities under supervision.

This in-office role allows exposure to treasury, internal controls, and cross-functional processes, with remote work possible from a pre-approved location as arranged by management.

Strong Excel skills and eagerness to learn are valued; you must be currently enrolled in a related bachelor’s program.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software; ERP/GL experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with reconciliation software (e.g., ADRA) preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily reconciliations of collection and trust bank accounts.
• Monitor daily bank activity and cash balances and research unidentified cash items.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Loan Servicing, and Operations on cash movements and sweeps.
• Prepare and maintain audit-ready cash postings documentation.
• Maintain supporting documentation and workpapers for journal entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and documentation.
