Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking dynamic Accounting Interns for the 2027 summer. The program spans twelve weeks, with a May 2027 start, and requires current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

Interns will work in accounting systems, financial reporting, fixed assets, operational accounting and shared services, performing general accounting duties and supporting monthly close processes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Preferably junior status as of Fall 2027.
• Above average GPA.
• Self-motivated and involved in activities outside college studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties to support the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Assist with preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Work cross-functionally with related departments to complete monthly close processes.
• Demonstrate strong transaction management and reconciliation abilities.
