Job summary

Vista Healthcare Administration in St George, UT is seeking a part-time accounting assistant. You will perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations, record inter-company transactions, and roll over month-end work papers and financial statements.

The role supports payroll reporting, prepares weekly analyses from our accounting software, enters and pays payables, and upholds GAAP and company procedures. A Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years accounting experience are preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Records inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Rolls over month end work papers and financial statements.
• Assists with payroll reporting and provides support to the payroll team on other payroll related tasks.
• Prepares weekly analysis reports using data from the companys software systems.
• Assists with entering and paying various payables.
• Follows the company accounting procedures and understands and conforms to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Assists with periodic reviews, audits and compliance activities.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

Education/Licensure:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalency preferred.
• One to two years of accounting experience preferred.
