Job summary

Shure is seeking a detail-oriented accounting intern to support fiscal year-end tasks, audits, and month-end close processes in our Illinois office. You will work with the Accounting Department to prepare spreadsheets, coordinate subsidiary requests, and assist with fixed asset reporting and vendor payments.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least two years completed.
• Must have completed at least two semesters of Accounting Theory.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, and pivot tables.
• Demonstrated analytical and communication abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and challenges with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fiscal year-end and audit activities for the Accounting Department.
• Coordinate requests to subsidiaries and pull source documentation.
• Create and verify spreadsheets for reporting needs.
• Assist with month-end close processes including accrual identification.
• Support AP invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Assist with year-end audit support and fixed asset reporting.

Requirements

• 2 years of study completed while working toward Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting
