Stein's Garden and Home is seeking an Accounting Intern in Milwaukee, WI to support the Accounting team with accounts payable, data maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting. You will work closely with Purchasing, Human Resources, and Operations to improve processes and accuracy.
The internship offers hands-on experience in a retail accounting environment, develops practical accounting, analytical, and business skills, and provides exposure to month-end activities and cross-functional projects.

The Accounting Intern supports the Accounting team through Accounts Payable activities, financial data maintenance, reconciliations, reporting, and special project work. This role provides hands-on experience in a retail accounting environment while developing practical accounting, analytical, and business process improvement skills. The intern will work closely with Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Operations teams to support accurate financial records and operational efficiency.
