The FHLBs provide readily available, low-cost funding to members thereby increasing the availability of credit for residential mortgage lending and investment in housing and community development. This unique experience will expose you in a short period of time to a wide range of accounting rules and practices that are applicable to the finance industry.**Areas of Focus:**Investments & Derivatives Accounting - Dive into the complex world of investments, debt, mortgages, and derivatives. You will get to see how trades are entered, documented, tracked, valued and recorded.
