Austin Peay State University’s AACSB-accredited College of Business invites applicants for an Instructor of Accounting with teaching interests in undergraduate courses to begin in August 2027. This is a three-year, renewable, non-tenure, contract role to teach eight three-hour courses per year: four in Fall; four in Spring.

The successful candidate will actively teach the discipline, develop curriculum, and use diverse methods such as hybrid, flipped, and blended formats to cover courses

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of accounting experience directly linked to the field.
• Or Master’s degree in Business with 18 graduate hours in accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Ability to teach Principles of Accounting I & II, Intermediate Accounting, and Cost Accounting using hybrid, flipped, and blended formats.

Responsabilidades

• Teach eight three-hour accounting courses per year (four in Fall, four in Spring).
• Actively teach the discipline and monitor student learning outcomes.
• Develop curriculum and deliver courses using diverse teaching methods (hybrid, flipped, blended).
