Xavier University's Williams College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Instruction in Accountancy starting Fall 2027. The role is renewable yearly, with potential for promotion after six years to Associate Professor of Instruction, based on scholarly and professional engagement.

The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and MBA/MS courses in live and online formats and serve as faculty advisor for the Accounting Society, contributing

Qualifications

Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in accounting-related coursework.
Strong evidence of teaching effectiveness and professional work experience.
CPA or similar certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach in undergraduate and master's programs (MBA/MS in Accountancy) in live and online formats.
Teach introductory courses, financial and managerial accounting, and an additional course in the major.
Advise Accounting Society and support student professional development.
Engage in department/university service and ongoing professional development.
