Job summary

CCC&TI in Caldwell County seeks an Instructor, Accounting to deliver accessible, high-quality instruction across classroom, online, and hybrid formats. You will develop syllabi, assessments, and course materials, provide accurate advisement, and maintain office hours in line with college policy.

The role requires teaching 15–22 contact hours per semester, maintaining records, and contributing to curriculum development. A Master’s in Accounting and college teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

Experience teaching at a community college; ability to teach in classroom, hybrid, and distance learning formats.
Ability to use learning management systems to deliver courses and assess student outcomes.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to advis students on academic paths.

Responsibilities

Plans and delivers accessible, quality instruction across modes (classroom, online, hybrid).
Instructs 15–22 contact hours per semester and develops syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
Maintains office hours and responsive communication with students.
Maintains accurate attendance and grade records and submits final reports in a timely manner.
Collaborates with colleagues to align program goals and participates in program review and development.
Mentors part‑time instructors and supports college initiatives on retention and completion.
