Job summary

CCC&TI Caldwell is seeking an Instructor of Accounting to deliver accessible, high-quality instruction in classroom, lab, and distance settings. You will prepare course materials, maintain online content, and provide accurate advising in alignment with program outcomes.

The role requires 36 hours of direct service weekly over a 9-month term, with on-campus or approved locations, and collaboration across divisions to meet college goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Accounting with 18 graduate hours in accounting and economics or business.
• Teaching experience at a community college; experience with hybrid/distance education.
• Proficiency in MS-Excel; QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers accessible, quality instruction that enhances student learning and course outcomes.
• Instructs 15-22 contact hours per semester; prepares objectives, assignments, assessments, and grading policies.
• Develops syllabi, updates online courses, and maintains classroom schedules.
• Maintains office hours and available by appointment; responds to electronic communications timely.
• Keeps attendance and grades records; participates in program assessments and curriculum development.
• Mentors part-time instructors and supports department, division, and college goals.
