Job summary

Cascade CPA is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the firm’s internal accounting and financial operations in a growth-oriented, non-client-facing role.

You will own all accounting processes from transaction processing to monthly financial reporting, build scalable workflows, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will manage a small internal team and partner with leadership to provide actionable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-basis accounting.
• Ability to learn and adopt any new technology; tech-savvy.
• Significant experience managing month-end close and producing statements.
• Analytical mindset to translate numbers into insights.
• Understanding of AR, billing, revenue recognition, and controls.
• CPA firm or professional-services experience preferred.
• Experience with WIP, time-and-billing systems, utilization, and profitability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Cascade CPA's internal accounting and monthly close.
• Build scalable, well-documented processes and controls.
• Lead and develop the internal accounting team (Bookkeeper, Biller, Data Entry Specialist).
• Improve WIP, billing, collections, and reporting with Karbon integration.
• Deliver timely, meaningful financial statements and variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic finance decisions.
• Lead financial integration for mergers and acquisitions.
