Job summary

Hanon Systems in Georgia is seeking an Accounting & Finance Specialist to support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational finance activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance while driving effective planning processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in manufacturing, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s monthly closing.
• Review plant profitability and program financials including gate reviews.
• Prepare analytical reports and tools.
• Communicate budgets, forecasts, and actual results with teams.
• Report variances accurately and work with managers on internal reporting.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support initiatives.
• Support finance-related projects such as inventory optimization and cost saving.

Job description

We are seeking an Accounting & Finance Specialist to support a wide range of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational finance activities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with company policies, and effective financial planning processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plant’s monthly closing leads
• Plant’s profitability and program’s financial review including gate review support
• Plays key role in the preparation of analytical reports and tools
• Regularly communicates with teams regarding expectations for preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and actual results relative to expectations.
• Prepares accurate reporting of variances and works with department managers to develop accurate internal reporting.
• Performs ad hoc core financial analysis and reporting responsibilities to support internal initiatives and projects focusing on driving efficiency and transparency
• Supports the finance related project, task such as inventory optimization, cost saving, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a preference for a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or equivalent work experience
• 5-10 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline driven environment
• Work with International team
• Overtime is required as needed
