Job summary

Hanon Systems is seeking an Accounting & Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Novi, MI. This role supports financial planning, reporting, analysis, and operational improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will prepare analytical reports, coordinate budgets and forecasts with plant teams, and help ensure data integrity across systems. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or equivalent work.
• 3-7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

• Prepares analytical reports and tools for financial planning and reporting.

• Prepares variance reports and works with department managers on internal reporting.
• Ensures data integrity across financial systems and performs data reconciliations.
• Performs ad hoc financial analysis to support efficiency initiatives and transparency.
• Reviews operating results and prepares variance and trend analyses monthly.
• Supports finance-related projects such as inventory optimization and cost-saving initiatives.

This role will play a critical part in supporting financial planning, reporting, analysis, and operational improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plays key role in the preparation of analytical reports and tools
• Regularly communicates with plant teams regarding expectations for preparation and review of budgets, forecasts and actual results relative to expectations.
• Prepares accurate reporting of variances and works with department managers to develop accurate internal reporting.
• Ensures that consistent practices are used to maintain integrity of financial data and related systems: researches and reconciles data analysis for accuracy
• Performs ad hoc core financial analysis and reporting responsibilities to support internal initiatives and projects focusing on driving efficiency and transparency
• Reviews operating results and prepare variance and trend analysis monthly
• Supports the finance related project, task such as inventory optimization, cost saving, etc.

Qualifications
