Job summary

Twenty Technologies, headquartered in Arlington, VA, is seeking its first full-time Accounting hire to establish and manage efficient, audit-ready financial processes for a high-growth software company. You will own foundational workflows and help scale operations with AI-native tools.

You will thrive if you have Big 4 audit experience or startup accounting exposure, and you’re excited about defense technology and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience, including Big 4 audit and/or high-growth tech startups.
• CPA is favored but not required.
• Proficiency with modern financial systems (ERP, spend management, payroll) and Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own Accounting and Financial Operations for a high-growth software company.
• Identify and implement scalable processes to reduce overhead as volumes grow.
• Prepare for future audits with roadmap and timing awareness.
• External management with tax, bookkeeping, vendors, government partners, and auditors.
• Systems optimization to streamline internal workflows.
• Develop internal policies for expenses and procurement; build strong leadership relationships.
• Support cross-functional initiatives including Legal, HR and Office tasks.
