Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada invites applications for a full-time accounting instructor to support certification-oriented courses across Financial, Managerial, and Tax Accounting tracks. Responsibilities include advising students, program development, and service on committees within the college community.

Required is a Master’s in Accounting or MBA from a regionally accredited institution; Ph.D. in Accounting and CPA/CFE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration from a regionally accredited College/University.
• Ph.D. in Accounting; CPA and/or CFE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching assignments designed to prepare students for certification in areas of emphasis such as Financial, Managerial, Tax Accounting and other accounting courses.
• Advisement, recruitment, assessment of Student Learning Outcomes, and Curriculum Development responsibilities.
• Participation on Department, School and College committees; other duties as assigned.
• Engage with a diverse workforce and community outreach including collaboration with CCSD.
• Opportunities for professional growth via internal/external courses and seminars.

Education
