Job summary

Southern Regional Technical College is seeking a Faculty member in Accounting to deliver industry-relevant instruction and support student success. You will implement course materials, assess progress, and coordinate experiential learning within state standards and college curriculum.

The role may include day, evening, and online courses to meet institutional needs. The minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Accounting and at least three years of relevant experience, with preference given

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with 18 graduate semester hours/30 graduate quarter hours in accounting.
• Three years of relevant work experience within past seven years.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains course outlines and program objectives.
• Creates syllabi and lesson plans; delivers instruction using diverse methods and tech.
• Evaluates student progress and provides timely feedback per guidelines.
• Coordinates experiential learning components and maintains documentation.
• Maintains attendance records and reports no-shows as required.
• Manages supplies and budget requests; ensures licensure and certifications are current.
• Prepares instructional and administrative reports in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Engages with students, staff, and external partners to support workforce readiness.
