Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in accounting, or Associate degree in Accounting and 3 years non-teaching work experience.
• Three years of non-teaching, industry-related work experience.
• Commitment to serving a multicultural student population.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach accounting courses to a multicultural student population based on learning outcomes.
• Participate in curriculum review, program review, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback reflecting program outcomes.
• Mentor students in the Accounting program.
• Maintain office hours and participate in college committees and governance.
• Utilize Blackboard Ultra and other technologies to develop course content and manage duties.
• Stay current in the field through professional development activities.
• Comply with college policies and support a culture of care and civility.
