Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Director to lead core accounting functions and ensure statutory compliance. You will drive month-end closings, internal controls, and audits while shaping financial strategy and reporting with senior leadership.

You will mentor a high-performing team, oversee ERP-driven processes, and push modernization through automation and AI to scale operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
• 7-9 years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and industry environments
• 3-5 years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, ERP systems, and financial compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead general accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and statutory reporting
• Oversee month-end and fiscal close processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Manage internal controls, regulatory compliance, and accounting standards adherence
• Direct internal and external audits and related financial documentation
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and executive reporting
• Drive process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
