Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA license required.
• 7+ years of management experience.
• SAP or similar ERP/consolidation system experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses.
• Oversee closing processes monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Provide leadership regarding accounting matters and partner with business leaders in Tokyo HQ.
• Communicate accounting matters and financial business insights to internal stakeholders.
• Lead audit processes and manage partnerships with external partners.
• Assess risks and develop solutions regarding complex accounting issues.
• Lead accounting assessments for Joint ventures, acquisitions and company investments.
• Maintain accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial documentation in accordance with US GAAP.
• Participate in BPR, system implementation, and finance process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership and HQ.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects.
