Job summary

Ivy Tech Bloomington campus is seeking a full time Accounting faculty member to also serve as the Department Chair of Accounting and the Office Administration and Technologies program. This 9 month position carries a base salary of $50,000 with a $3,500 chair allowance and an administrative day allowance.

Summer contracts add additional compensation on a 1/3 of 9-month base. Responsibilities include overseeing programs, curriculum development, student advising, and institutional leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting preferred; or a bachelor's in accounting with CPA or equivalent certification.
• Two years of field experience or active professional credentialing.
• Ability to manage programs, advising, and instructional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes and develop curriculum aligned with program outcomes.
• Oversee Accounting and Office Administration and Technologies programs.
• Coordinate faculty and staff, enrollment and retention initiatives.
• Engage in service, committees, and community relations.
