An established industry player is seeking an Accounting Coordinator for Unclaimed Property to manage financial research and data entry. This role involves updating spreadsheets, resolving inquiries, and assisting with special projects. Responsible for timely and accurate research into unclaimed financial property for our providers, customers, and/or members. Updates unclaimed property spreadsheets monthly by promptly entering data into Excel, including stale-dated checks by legal entity. Researches and provides check information for all checks in unclaimed property. Resolves questions and inquiries from Magellan employees, vendors, and providers related to unclaimed property. Assists management with special projects or tasks as assigned.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer service attitude.
Demonstrated ability to deal professionally with vendors and internal customers.
Intermediate or advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis tools, pivot tables, etc.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to learn new software easily.

Salary Range: $37,725 - $56,595
