512Financial is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support diverse clients across industries, maintaining accurate financials, analyzing budgets, and assisting with audits under a Senior Consultant’s guidance.

This fully remote role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Residents in MI or other eligible states may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Ability to perform account reconciliations.

As an Accounting Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients across industries, maintaining accurate financials, analyzing budgets, and helping businesses make smart decisions. Working under the guidance of a Senior Consultant, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and industries, all while collaborating with top-tier financial professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Process accounts payable with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial integrity

• Partner with team members and clients to meet and exceed deadlines

What You’ll Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Organizational/analytical skills
• Microsoft Excel familiarity
• Ability to perform account reconciliations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Experience in various ERPs a plus (QBO, Intacct, Sage, NetSuite)
• Software Accounting experience a plus
• Positive attitude and team player
• Ability to multi-task, and prioritize big ticket items
• Confidence, ambition, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and in team environment
• Active listening and problem-solving skills
