Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Accounting & Compliance Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals supporting insurance brokerage and enterprise accounting within the HUB Financial Center. You will ensure US GAAP compliance, manage close processes, and strengthen internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and collaboration across Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and IT, with opportunities to influence integration of acquired entities

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of team leadership experience and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain SOX control ownership, support audits, and ensure evidence retention.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and system enhancements with IT and system owners.
• Develop a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth within the team.
