TEKsystems is seeking an Accounting Clerk for an on-site role in Redding, CA. You will support both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, process invoices, payments, deposits, and vendor payments, and assist with month-end processes.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, and Great Plains. This contract-to-hire position offers on-site work with a pay rate of $21-$23/hr, with potential for increase when permanent.

Accounting Clerk

Looking for an accounting professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

What You’ll Do

• Process invoices, payments, deposits, collections, and vendor payments.
• Research billing discrepancies and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Assist with month-end, quarterly, year-end reporting, and general accounting support.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong accuracy, organization, communication, and basic accounting/math skills.
• Experience working with Excel, Outlook, Word, and accounting software such as Great Plains.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redding, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
