Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies seeks an experienced accounting clerk to perform general accounting duties including routine calculations, reconciliations, cash balancing, verifications, and postings. This onsite role is based in Boston, GA.

Responsibilities include data entry across GL/AR/AP/inventory, preparing financial reports, and reconciling accounts. Strong attention to detail and a HS diploma are required; a 4-year accounting/finance degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Foundational accounting knowledge including debits, credits, and ledgers.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and budgeting basics.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with standard desktop software and accounting programs.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process data across general ledger, AR, AP, and inventory.
• Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrections.
• Verify information accuracy for accounting transactions.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate with colleagues to resolve questions.
• Assist others with related tasks; may specialize in AP/AR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
