Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is hiring for a full-time accounting support role at the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Waimanalo, HI. You will handle purchase requisitions, purchase orders, government contracts and routine accounting tasks in line with directives.

Essential functions include posting vouchers, reconciling bank accounts, maintaining routine accounting records, and assisting with student payroll and petty cash reconciliation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must have working knowledge of computers, databases and spreadsheet systems.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Handle government agency contracts and routine accounting duties.
• Post routine journal vouchers or accounts payable vouchers.
• Reconcile bank accounts and post subsidiary ledgers.
• Assist with student pay and reconcile petty cash.
