Job summary

VytlOne in Amarillo, TX is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to perform accounting functions for the Pharmacy Operations division. You will support the accounting department with clerical tasks, maintain records, and assist with deposits and daily cash reporting for pharmacies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (college coursework preferred), familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting software, and strong typing and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college coursework preferred but not required
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Competent in MS Office, databases and accounting software
• Strong typing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
• Type accurately and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare bank deposits, post payments, record daily cash reports for pharmacies
• Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed by the Director of Shared Services
• Display computer literacy and experience with accounting software
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Work effectively with minimal oversight and in a team environment
• Coordinate and perform multiple projects simultaneously
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
