ACCOUNTING CLERK

Direct Hire role with our client North of Pittsburgh
Workplace Type: Hybrid

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Process and code vendor invoices and expense reports
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
  • Maintain vendor files and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Prepare and send customer invoices
  • Apply customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Reconcile AP/AR accounts monthly
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers as needed
  • Support other accounting tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in an accounting support role with a focus on AP and AR
  • Demonstrated experience working with inventory payables
  • Experience with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
