Job summary

Ourisman Automotive Group in Bethesda is seeking a motivated Sales Associate who excels in customer service and product knowledge to guide car buyers through a positive shopping experience. You will present vehicles, answer questions, and coordinate test drives and financing options.

You will maintain showroom standards, follow up with prospects, and strive to meet sales goals while ensuring accuracy in contracts and paperwork and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to learn product information and pricing quickly.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient with common computer software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and providing information about vehicles and services.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership's vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing, to effectively answer customer questions and make recommendations.
• Guide customers through the sales process, from vehicle selection and test drives to financing and closing the sale.
• Follow up with potential customers and leads to nurture relationships and encourage sales.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales performance of the dealership.
• Prepare and process sales contracts, financing applications, and other required documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance and organization of the showroom and lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and properly displayed.
• Address and resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
