The Role

We are seeking an accounting clerk to support the accounting and operations team in Northern Michigan. This is an entry-level finance position responsible for ensuring accurate financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and perform data entry into accounting systems.
• Process and review invoices, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Receive and record vouchers, cash, and checks.
• Reconcile accounts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain financial filing systems and organize documents for audits.
• Support Regional Controller with basic reports and reconciliations.
• Use accounting software to process transactions.
• Entering financial data and updating ledgers.
• Reviewing invoices and receipts for accuracy.
• Filing and organizing financial documents.
• Communicating with vendors and internal departments.
