Ed Morse Automotive Group is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support financial operations across multiple states and brands. The role requires handling GL reconciliations, AP/AR, and payment processing, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounting, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency in Excel and Word. Automotive dealership experience is preferred; solid communication skills are essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of account reconciliations.
• Automotive dealership experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; good computer skills.

We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Ed Morse team.

Responsibilities

• Processing various GL account reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process incoming payment transactions
• Oversee vendor collections, follow up on delinquent accounts
• Assist with month end closing

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Great understanding of account reconciliations
• Automotive dealership experience is preferred
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced office Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
• Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively.
