Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our hotel team. The Accounting Clerk will support the hotel’s daily accounting operations, ensuring financial records are accurate, organized, and completed in a timely manner.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Enter invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions accurately
- Reconcile daily hotel revenue and verify supporting documentation
- Assist with daily income audit and financial reporting
- Prepare and organize deposits and other banking-related documentation
- Review credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Communicate with department managers and vendors regarding accounting questions
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
- Hotel or hospitality accounting experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
