Job summary

Aprio is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their Client Accounting Services team, helping clients maximize opportunities and supporting monthly closings.

You will prepare/write up full monthly work for standard / less complex clients, reconcile fixed assets, and collaborate across the team to meet deadlines while learning new software and advancing toward CPA goals. This role offers flexible remote/hybrid options and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
• Month-end close processes experience.
• Strong communication within a team.
• Ability to learn new software and processes.
• CPA firm exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/write up full monthly work for standard / less complex clients
• Prepare/update fixed assets schedules and reconcile to financial statements
• Communicate with team members for missing items for monthly work
• Perform Financial Statement compliance review
• Complete year‑end workpapers
• Help all other levels when needed
• Join in on helping facilitate what is needed for the Team as a whole
• Begin to understand concept of budget and realization goals for both for clients and team

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare/write up full monthly work for standard / less complex clients
• Prepare/update fixed assets schedules and reconcile to financial statements
• Communicate with team members for missing items for monthly work
• Perform Financial Statement compliance review
• Complete year‑end workpapers
• Help all other levels when needed
• Join in on helping facilitate what is needed for the Team as a whole
